the receptionist was friendly when we arrived late. free public car parking was across the street and very convenient. the neighbourhood was quiet and clean. the beds were comfortable and the room had a sofa and chairs.
the carpet in the room gave an impression of being not well maintained.

I appreciated the free parking just outside the hotel! plus, catherine was a star. She spoke excellent english and gave helpful directions. breakfast included bacon and eggs alongside a continental selection, i found it very delicious. the common areas had a cute atmosphere, with cozy spots to relax in the bar and lounge.
the bathroom felt a little dated, and i noticed some wear and tear, especially around the flooring! it would benefit from some refurbishment, as it's a little old-fashioned for my taste. it would make it perfect, though.
